This is the second book by Carole Matthews I have read, the first being ‘The Christmas Party’. When I saw this book on Amazon, and read the blurb, I thought it sound good, and couldn’t wait to get stuck in. The best bit about A Place to Call Home was the voice, Ayesha Rasheed is not like any other female character I have read before. hi Carole. I just want to say how much my mum and i absolutely ADORED “A Place To Call Home”. We both got so caught up in the characters lives and were absolutely willing them to have the happy ending they deserved!!!
